Home-grown supermarket chain, Spinneys will officially open the doors of its latest store in the family-favourite and rapidly-developing Al Jurf community in Ajman. The store opening is scheduled on May 30, 2019.

Spanning more than 14,000 sqft, the new Spinneys store in Ajman will be the second in the emirate and will create over 35 new jobs for the local community. It will be open seven days a week from 8am until midnight, bringing a convenient, one-stop shop for great-tasting, quality food.

The new full-service supermarket will be the 58th Spinneys store in the UAE and will feature a range of on-site facilities. Services will include an in-store bakery with an Arabic bread baking facility, fresh cold and hot deli, a butchery, tasty fruits and vegetables, mixed salads, prepared food to go and everyday staples.

“With our continued focus on expansion throughout 2019, opening our second store in Ajman reinforces Spinneys’ footprint across the emirate. Al Jurf community offers a diverse selection of retail and dining attractions and we’re delighted to bring our fresh food offering to local shoppers in Ajman,” says Morne Fourie, general manager – marketing for Spinneys.

Being an independently-owned retailer, Spinneys is able to listen to its customers and adapt to grow and build a supermarket that sits at the heart of the community, whilst still remaining true to its fresh food retailer values. Highlighting continued growth for the brand, Spinneys has plans to open eight more supermarkets this year – including Jumeirah Golf Estate, Damac Hills, Dubai Creek Residences and Meydan in Dubai and Al Maryah Central in Abu Dhabi.
