Splash announces Salman Khan as its brand ambassador

July 30, 2013 | By RetailME Bureau

Dubai-based high street retailer Splash ropes in Salman Khan as its brand ambassador. This strategic announcement coincides with the brand’s celebration of 20 years in dealing with fashion. The actor will be seen promoting the entire line-up of Splash clothing over the yearlong association, across various platforms of the brand and will be seen interacting with the wide audience that Splash caters to.

“We are very excited to have star and style icon Salman Khan as the face of Splash in the region. Our relationship with Khan dates back to when we launched ‘Being Human’ as part of our brand portfolio, which now gets stronger. Our association with the actor stems from his persona of style that is often spoken about and he is famous for creating fashion trends that are copied by millions. It is this side of his personality that is edgy, sophisticated and on-trend that we aim to capitalise on in his first brand endorsement with a Middle East high street retailer, allowing Splash customers to create their own memorable fashion moments, all at affordable prices,” says Raza Beig, CEO of Splash.

Talking about the association, Khan remarks, “Splash is an amazing high street retailer with a very vast reach in the region. I am happy to be associated with Splash and we together look forward to a great journey.”
