Steve Madden unveils its globally largest international store

American footwear brand Steve Madden – part of the Landmark Group in the Middle East – has relocated its store in The Dubai Mall to a spacious and convenient location on the ground floor of the mall. The new store location, which features a state-of-the-art shoes and accessories layout, is largely expected to tap into an ever-growing footfall, following The Dubai Mall’s popularity with foreign and local shoppers.

The 4000 sqft store, which is the brand’s second largest store in the world is designed using metal and wood with white and red brick walls, to give an urban chic look inspired by New York. Importantly, the new Steve Madden store location has been designed with the modern customer in mind. The store layout and product displays make navigation and shopping a more convenient and enjoyable experience.

“Our new location in The Dubai Mall is a core component of our company’s long-term brand strategy in the Middle East. The updated design incorporates features to engage our digitally savvy customer. We are thrilled with the outcome and expect great results. We congratulate the entire Landmark team on such a huge milestone for the brand,” said Ian Funk, president – international sales, Steve Madden.

As part of its store realignment strategy, the new store is expected to continue providing fashion-forward women and men with trail-blazing footwear designs that enable them to express their individuality, aspirations and confidence. In fact, the opening of the new location earlier this month, coincided with the launch of the Steve Madden’s spring-summer 2019 collection.

“We are very happy to open the largest Steve Madden store outside North America in The Dubai Mall, which is undoubtedly the best & largest mall in the world. The 4,000 sqft store is designed combining Steve Madden’s traditional industrial look with a modern contemporary feel. There are special feature areas and interactive zones that will enhance our customer experience tremendously, and this flagship will act as a catalyst to strengthen the brand’s presence across the GCC,” added Dinesh Shahani, COO, Landmark Group.

Currently, Steve Madden has over 19 stores in the UAE and a total of 39 outlets in the GCC.
