In a recent move, Apparel Group has announced the opening of 19 stores in Bahrain, This robust growth shows the company’s commitment to fueling the fashion and lifestyle ecosystem in the region. Here’s mapping the company’s recent openings across GCC since the beginning of this year.

Apparel Group has strengthened its presence in Bahrain with 19 new store openings at The Avenues – Phase 2. Home to over 85 brands, this expansion solidifies the conglomerate’s position as a key driver of the region’s fashion and lifestyle landscape.

The retail expansion took place in two phases, with the first phase opening 10 stores on March 12, followed by the second phase, adding 9 more stores. Each location marks a significant step in Apparel Group’s efforts to drive Bahrain’s economic and retail growth while introducing a portfolio of globally renowned brands to the region.

Neeraj Teckchandani, CEO of Apparel Group, said, “The grand opening of 19 Apparel Group stores at The Avenues – Bahrain is a testament to our dedication to providing unparalleled retail experiences in the region. This expansion strengthens our footprint in Bahrain and reflects our commitment to fostering economic growth and elevating the country’s retail sector. As we continue to scale our presence, we remain focused on driving retail excellence and delivering world-class brands to the market.”

Earlier this month, the Apparel Group also introduced seven of its brands to Solitaire Mall in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. With a focus on the GCC region, Apparel Group consistently leverages local strengths, including exclusive Ramadan collections, to cater to regional preferences.

In addition to its latest expansion, Apparel Group’s fast fashion brand, R&B, is set to open 250 stores across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) by the end of 2025. Currently operating 149 stores, R&B has recently launched new locations in cities such as Abu Dhabi and Dubai, accompanied by the release of its 2025 Ramadan collection.

Back to Bahrain, the latest expansion solidifies Apparel Group’s position as the leading retail company in the region, occupying nearly 10% of the mall’s total retail space with the highest number of stores. These openings introduce a diverse mix of fashion, footwear, and lifestyle brands to cater to the evolving preferences of Bahraini consumers.
