Sun and Sand Sports expands into The Dubai Mall

Sun & Sand Sports has opened an expansive new store in The Dubai Mall, with the message that sport is about fun – not just about winning. The #FunToTheFinish concept encourages every single customer to enjoy fitness activities, not endure them – no matter their age or athletic ability. Spanning 871 sqm, the all-new retail space is located adjacent to The Dubai Mall Waterfall, an iconic attraction that echoes the sense of freedom offered by the brand’s ethos of ultra-accessible fitness and fun. Customers of all athletic abilities can put their best foot forward with a focus on footwear, with everything from running shoes to stylish streetwear kicks available – including ‘lift and look’ digital displays which allow customers to directly compare two different styles.

The wide range of clothing, apparel and accessories features some of the foremost global brands, including Nike, Adidas, Speedo, New Balance, Under Armour and Puma. Beyond clothing, Sun & Sand Sports also provides athletic equipment for home gyms, weight training, swimming, yoga and much more. Athletic activities can be daunting for many, with the pressure and expectation to always perform at your very best. Gone are the days when we need to push ourselves to breaking point and reach peak performance. Sun & Sand Sports is redefining the conversation, encouraging sports and fitness as a method to pursue your happiest self.

“The last two years have been an incredibly uncertain time, and that’s one of the many reasons we want to encourage more people to embrace the benefit of fitness and fun sporting activities. There is no pressure to achieve anything – simply an invitation to get active and enjoy the proven wellbeing benefits of movement,” explained by an official at GMG.   Sport and fitness do not need to be another stress factor in our lives. It can simply provide opportunities for enjoyment and community connection. Sun & Sand Sports is taking the lead to inspire everyone to enjoy sports and fitness on their own terms, bringing back the enjoyment of sport in day-to-day life. The store is open daily from 10:00am to 10:00pm, located on the 1st floor of The Dubai Mall.
