Raymark launches retail solutions for handheld devices

Canada-based enterprise solutions provider Raymark has announced the launch of its newest solution for retail store operations — Mosaic Inventory Management. The new solution complements the suite of Raymark Mosaic retail enterprise applications with tools for end-to-end management and optimisation of inventory from a handheld device, including support for iPhone and iPod Touch.

Mosaic Inventory Management empowers retailers to modernise the way associates interact with retail inventory by putting the power of Raymark’s omni-channel, real-time, centralised database at their fingertips. Mosaic Inventory Management arms associates with a complete toolset for efficient goods flow, supporting transfers, receiving, physical counts and inventory lookup all from a handheld mobile device, with barcode scanning from the device’s camera. As new devices, form factors and operating systems become available, the application’s HTML5 technology will enable it to evolve with new trends in mobile hardware. The solution’s real-time capabilities make it a must-have for instant access to product information, including inventory visibility from anywhere in the retail network, even distribution centres.

“Today’s consumers demand attentive service, so associates need tools and technology to limit the amount of time they spend on non-selling activities, and maximise the time they have for customer service and selling,” says Marc Chriqui, president of Raymark.

“Mosaic Inventory Management completes the existing Point of Sale and Clienteling modules of the Raymark Mosaic Store Platform with back-office tools that enable retailers to run completely mobile stores,” adds Chriqui.
