The Pearl-Qatar to offer attractive entertainment, F&B mix

A 53,820-sqft indoor entertainment centre Megapolis is set to open this March at Medina Centrale in The Pearl-Qatar. Megapolis will combine a range of entertainment venues including arcades and indoor attractions such as golf, bowling, snooker, billiard and darts to high tech 3D and 5D games, karaoke and an active sports zone. The entertainment centre will also feature five eateries – Saladworks, Earl of Sandwich, Cool de Sac, Camille’s Ice Cream and Mister Pizza.

“We are delighted to see one of the most anticipated entertainment hubs in Doha and at The Pearl-Qatar come to completion, says Mohamed Yoosaf, general manager of retail leasing at The Pearl-Qatar. “Megapolis is a valuable addition to the family-oriented facilities that are planned for the island and categorises as the new generation of hybrid recreation centres, embodying exquisite designs and infrastructure with high tech and service sophistication.”

The Pearl-Qatar’s retail and hospitality expansion plans will also continue. United Development Company (UDC), the master developer of The Pearl-Qatar, had signed a lease agreement with Palma Hospitality Group last year to launch a series of F&B concepts in addition to Megapolis. As part of the deal, two more restaurants, La Casa 28 and Debs w Reman as well as coffee shop Mokarabia, will also open later in 2015.
