This experiential eyewear concept store is now open in Mall of the Emirates

Spread across 800 sqm (8,611 sqft), eyewear distributor Optitalia Group’s retail brand VISION INDUSTRY at Mall of Emirates is an experiential retail space offering a wide selection of eyewear assortment. The store retails over 60 brands including the likes of Dior, Off-White, Chopard, Carrera and Nike, among others.

The store features a design hub, state-of-the-art eye-test facilities, sustainability corner, café and a fully operational artisan lab. Guided by specialists, VISION INDUSTRY’s Italian artisans can craft in-house handmade frames and sunglasses, delivering bespoke designs. The brand also offers in-store eye examination conducted by licensed optometrists prior to purchasing a frame or contact lenses.

“At VISION INDUSTRY, our goal is to help the customer understand what goes behind creating an eyewear. We feel it is an object that is sometimes taken for granted, and in reality, encompasses many aspects ranging from craftsmanship, technology, healthcare and fashion. We are on a mission to let people see the beauty of this, in the same way we see it,” stated Gian Paolo Biasotto, Co-founder, VISION INDUSTRY

What’s more, VISION INDUSTRY has on display a one-of-a-kind attraction, a Museum Corner featuring a selection of eyewear that belonged to global celebrities. On display are flamboyant specs once worn by Elton John, sunglasses personalised for Elvis Presley, a piece worn by Madonna at her 1970 music tour and sunglasses adorned by the Duchess of Windsor, amongst other iconic pieces. All featured collectibles are part of the Safilo Museum collection for customers to see and enjoy in the central galleria of the store as they walk in.
