Dubai-based fashion concept Curador is set to tap into the Middle East’s tech retail potential with the launch of an e-commerce website in August 2018. The online store, Curador by SKB, will offer the full range of brand fashion items that are currently showcased at Collage Fashion.
By introducing an online store, the brand aims to reach a wider audience – particularly capturing the attention of a tech-savvy millennial market. Curador by SKB will allow its international customer base to order at the click of a button, with those residing in Dubai able to collect items at the store of their choice or opt for the convenience of home delivery.
An in-store e-reservation service will be introduced later this year, along with the opening of a catalogue showroom at Tiffany Tower in Jumeirah Lake Towers (JLT) by next month.
Style idiosyncrasies from travel destinations are the main source of inspiration for Curador’s motifs and materials, with the floral and applique work of Spain, the fine linens of Germany, glittering sequins of Turkey and the quality leather and meshwork of Italy being among the artisanal influences.
“Travel was the main inspiration behind Curador by SKB. There’s a moment of adrenaline and eventual contentment that comes from immersing into a new destination, and I wanted to imbue that sense of adventure into everyday fashion. My goal was to lace a touch of magic into our fashion offerings and give people the chance to build a style wardrobe that feels fresh and exciting – reflecting that same emotion of stepping off a plane and into a foreign land,” says founder & CEO, Suhina Kohli Bahl.
“The aim of Curador by SKB is to continue the journey, affording the customer a collection of style choices that impart the thrill of travel and exploration – with the convenience of having those designs delivered right to their doorstep,” she adds.
