Tryano unveils Shoe Gardens

Chalhoub Group’s luxury department store Tryano at Yas Mall has unveiled its new ‘Shoe Gardens’ retail concept, a flora-inspired footwear destination displaying over 1,000 pairs of shoes.

Reminiscent of a serene garden setting, with powdery colours and scented flowers displayed beautifully within an inviting space, Shoe Gardens will dedicate over 7,470 sqft to women’s footwear and 1,420 sqft to children’s shoe brands when it opens mid-July.

For style savvy women, the new retail destination within Tryano will offer a number of new brands with trend-led options including No21, Badgley Mischka, Nicholas Kirkwood and Giuseppe Zanotti. Adding further kudos is Emirati designer Sultan Al Darmaki and Nicoli, two regional footwear brands which will be stocked alongside fashion favourites such as Gianvitto Rossi, Aquazzura, Manolo Blahnik, Sarah Jessica Parker and Schutz. Athletic labels Nike and Converse will also debut in the space, offering a casual option for guests who appreciate the sneaker shopping experience.

Moving onto the dedicated kids shoe area, ‘The Blossoming Garden’, and guests will find Mommy & Me styles from Sophia Webster, Castell and more.

“The Shoe Gardens’ interior design evokes the emotions of walking through a waking garden, where soft colours play across the architectural landscape and the scent of summer flowers hangs delicately in the morning mist in this distinctive and fashion-forward shoe garden,” says Linton Crockford-Moore, group creative director, Chalhoub Group.

“Our new kids’ area, The Blossoming Garden, is a setting where shoes burst with life. This playful garden is filled with colourful organic forms designed to inspire and stimulate blossoming minds. Set to display over 300 pairs of shoes, this new area will put a spring back into the little ones’ footsteps,” he adds.

Launching alongside Shoe Gardens is a Tryano jewellery section, which will see a number of curated, new brands and concessions joining Tryano’s stable of existing designers. From regional designers like Nadine Kanso and exclusive brands P by Panache and Joomi Lim to Swarovski will offer a customisation station for purchases at Tryano.

“We are extremely excited to launch both the ‘Shoe Gardens’ and new jewellery department at Tryano this summer. The aim and vision of this expansion was to evolve with our guests and their needs, improving and exceeding overall shopping experiences and expectations. Working closely with our guests we continue to build and shape Tryano as the retail reference point for the region offering above and beyond product, quality and service to each and every individual,” adds Hamdi Kulahcioglu, general manager, Tryano.

Shoe Gardens is located on the first floor and the new jewellery section is located on the ground floor.
