Two decades of Mercato Mall
This month Dubai’s Italian themed Mercato mall will complete two decades since it first opened its doors to public. The shopping centre is gearing up to celebrate the occasion with a host of events, activations giving shoppers the chance to spend and win. The activities will take place between October 21 and 30.
“Since inception, our focus has been on delivering a comprehensive and inclusive retail experience for our customers. Over the last two decades, we have strived to keep pace with the latest customer preferences, be it in the form of decor, ambience, new-age brands and even the kind of entertainment that we offer. We have also ensured that the core values of Al Zarooni Group penetrate down to the day-to-day operations of the mall, so that customer satisfaction is achieved,” stated Emirati entrepreneur Abdul Rahim Mohammed Al Zarooni who founded the mall.
Al Zarooni also expressed how it has always been his intention to provide the [Jumeirah] community a leisurely environment to do their day-to-day shopping. He also shared how giving shape to Mercato – from sketch to construction – took more than five years.
