Urban RetrEAT to bring local foodpreneurs together

May 7, 2018 | By RetailME Bureau

This June a new F&B outlet called Urban RetrEAT will open at Yas Mall in Abu Dhabi. Urban RetrEAT aims to bring food lovers together with their unique concept of twelve rotating food vendors under one roof.

Urban RetrEAT is founded by husband and wife foodpreneurs, Amjad and Dana Alsharif, two of Dubai’s original home-grown food tuck vendors. Their aim is to create the largest platform to support home-grown talent in expanding their business and for Urban RetrEAT to become a food incubator, creating and setting trends in the Middle East food scene.

Urban RetrEAT will have twelve different food vendors and concepts on rotation every three months. Customers will step into an experience that will take them from the streets of Venezuela, to a plaza in Italy, to a back alley in Dubai and to a village in Lebanon. Some of the confirmed food vendors include Firefly Burger, Sukkar Dose, Off The Hook, Pidzza, Casa Latina, Mr. Brisket and Casa De Churros.

The venue will also host local talents such as musicians and artists, offering them a platform to showcase their work and perform for customers within Urban RetrEATs. The new venue located in Yas Mall, will be a place too catch-up with old friends, to work from, to celebrate or to experience some the of the UAE’s best home-grown food concepts.
