The US House of Representative has approved the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act.

The CARES Act will provide critical financial relief for American workers, families and small businesses impacted by the COVID-19 outbreak.

“This economic relief package provides a crucial bridge for the millions of American retail businesses and the retail jobs that will help support the US economy through this challenging time,” said Matthew Shay, president and CEO of the National Retail Federation (NRF).

In addition, the House and Senate have passed a $2 trillion stimulus package intended to keep the American economy afloat during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Meanwhile, NRF has listed retail job opportunities for those who have been displayed owing to the current crisis.
