Virgin Megastore unveils new concept store in Yas Mall

December 9, 2014 | By RetailME Bureau

Virgin Megastore Middle East unveiled its new concept store in Yas Mall. The store is over two levels with several new features including an event space, pop-up shops and artist collaborations that change on a regular basis. The new store will offer a mix of customer favourites in electronics, music, movies and books, in addition to an expanded selection of lifestyle products including national and international brands in fashion, accessories, beauty and home goods. There’s an eclectic mix of records, record players, skateboards, wall art, quirky gifts and so much more.

The store design partly aims at bringing the outdoors in. The store urbanisation includes street art, concrete, brick, exposed wooden beams, up-cycled materials, containers as fitting rooms and a slide that takes consumers from the top floor to the ground floor.

“The number one reason customers come to Virgin Megastore is to check out what’s new. This concept store will bring brands and products that are new to Virgin Megastore and to the Middle East. We love entertaining our customers with every store launch and every touch point they have with the brand. Virgin Yas truly resonates with our young customers, who are looking for a fun, relaxed shopping experience. The early feedback has been very positive, and we will be rolling out more of these concept stores in the years to come,” shares Nisreen Shocair, president of Virgin Megastore Middle East.
