Waitrose & Partners Al Barari Store

Waitrose & Partners UAE opens a convenience store in Al Barari, Dubai. This is Waitrose & Partners’ 12th store in the UAE.

Located in the heart of the eco-conscious Al Barari development, the 4,000 sqft convenience store provides customers with the same high standard of service that they would expect in any of the retailer’s larger stores. Shoppers can find the food they need for a quick, easy lunch, as well as a meal for later and store cupboard essentials.

With a fresh deli counter packed with an array of dishes to explore – from fresh salads to hot rotisserie chickens and freshly baked bread – there’s something for all to enjoy. In addition, customers can also shop Waitrose’s own brands, such as its No.1 premium range.

As Waitrose & Partners UAE opens new convenience store in Al Barari, Sunil Kumar, CEO, Fine Fare Foods, which runs Waitrose UAE, said, “A key priority in the Waitrose strategy is to find new ways to bring products closer to customers. Al Barari presented us with an opportunity to do exactly that – provide customers with a specialist grocery service in a convenient setting. The John Lewis Partnership has committed to being net zero carbon in its operations by 2050 – Al Barari’s ecological sensitivity aligns with our dedication to pave the way towards a greener, more sustainable future.”

Waitrose prides itself on its long-term relationships with farmers and producers who share its commitment to sustainable practices. Dedicated to sourcing locally wherever possible, shoppers can stock up on a variety of produce including fresh fruit and vegetables, organic salmon and free-range eggs.
