Walnut Grove’s initiative to empower women

July 9, 2019 | By RetailME Bureau

South African boutique dining concept, Walnut Grove is launching a new series of events called the ‘Sheroes Event Series’ at its outlet in The Dubai Mall focused on female empowerment.

Walnut Grove is providing select women the chance to host their own talks and events at the eatery and is inviting women across the UAE to nominate themselves and their friends for a chance to host a session. Women across all industries are welcome to apply to host a Sheroes session, which will provide them with a space and platform to share ideas, network and meet like-minded people.

Through these events, Walnut Grove aims to promote gender diversity in the workplace, supporting female entrepreneurs and female-founded start-ups. Women-led businesses globally are reported to have significant positive impacts on domestic job creation and economic growth. The Walnut Grove Sheroes series will help to empower women and address barriers that prevent women from running their own businesses, encouraging knowledge sharing and interaction between like-minded women.
