In collaboration with Al Tayer Group, American apparel and accessories brand Gap will launch the first GapFit, the brand’s activewear segment, standalone store in the world.

Spread across spread over 966 sqft, the world’s first GapFit store will be based at Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR) within The Beach complex in Dubai. The space will showcase the variety in GapFit products.

The store will host illuminated focus points with juxtaposing white washed wood finishes to create the perfect blend of GapFit’s modern athletic décor combined with the look and feel of an authentic beach cabin.

“We are delighted to have the first GapFit standalone store in the world. GapFit has already seen huge success with Al Tayer in the Middle East; therefore we are thrilled to offer it on a larger scale for customer delight. JBR provides an ideal home for the store with a true family feel – catering for the GapFit variety across men’s, women’s & kids,” says Richard Peace, senior vice president – lifestyle, Al Tayer Group.
