Indian bistro Zafran has reopened at the Dubai Marina Mall. Located on the first floor, the restaurant comfortably seats 160 and offers indoor and al fresco dining on its vast terrace overlooking the stunning Dubai Marina as well as take-out and delivery services to neighbourhoods in the vicinity.

The restaurant exudes a contemporary atmosphere, comfortable and relaxed seating and subtle lighting of the new space, in addition to the delectable new menu and the spectacular views.

The décor and ambiance of Zafran blends seamlessly with the highly rated chefs and the use of the finest natural ingredients sourced to create a perfect Indian dining experience, states Rakshak Puri, general manager for Asian Dining at Foodmark.

“We have conceptualised a menu and space that celebrates our founding principal of ‘Big heart-light touch’. Zafran at the Dubai Marina Mall is the perfect embodiment of this philosophy and we look forward to welcoming everyone back for a creative, charming and memorable dining experience,” he adds.

The newly opened restaurant has one more distinctive feature – a stunning collage art installation depicting the art, culture and history of India created exclusively for the venue by Arab artist, Jeffar Khaldi. Visible from the escalators inside the mall, this art wall is the visual focal point of the restaurant.

Another signature element of the venue is the open kitchen, allowing guests to witness the Zafran chefs engaging in the preparation of their food. The fascia of the kitchen is made of carbonised wood with brass detailing which replicates the char-grilling of the traditional tandoor, creating a beautiful.

“Happiness and heritage are the cornerstones of my cooking and this is evident in the new menu that was introduced earlier in the month at Zafran outlets across the region. Diners have appreciated the fact that whilst we keep reinventing ourselves we remain authentic and true to classic Indian cuisine,” shares chef Gaurav Singh. “Here at Zafran Dubai Marina Mall it will be no different. We do not underplay spice and our flavours are bold and traditional, yet our style itself is younger and more casual, making it accessible to those who are nostalgic for Indian cuisine but also part of this millennial generation.”
