ZOOM opens two new stores in Dubai Metro stations

ZOOM recently opened two new stores on the Dubai Metro station network to cater to thousands of daily commuters and the adjoining communities.

The new ZOOM stores at the Al Jaddaf and Creek Metro stations – spanning around 147 sqft and 204 sqft, respectively – offer a full range of services for all visitors. For the first time, customers will be able to pay for all the products and services using RTA’s NoL cards at these stores.

“As the UAE’s infrastructure expands with further investment in its rail and land transportation, different communities in diverse locations are linked with each together. Our long-term growth strategy for ZOOM’s expansion signifies that we are ready to be part of this growth to serve communities in their own areas. As we approach Dubai EXPO2020, we also look forward to expanding our network across all the new metro stations which will be added to the Metro’s green and red lines,” says Saif Humaid Al Falasi, group CEO, ENOC.

“Our partnership with ENOC Group has proved that retail innovation is a key driver towards achieving customer satisfaction. By offering our entire customer base of citizens, residents, tourists and visitors with the option of extending the use of NoL Cards to pay for all goods and services purchased at ZOOM and other affiliated stores, we hope to enhance our customers’ experience. ‘People Happiness’ is a vital goal for the RTA and our long-term association with ENOC reflects that achievement,” adds Abdulla Al Madani, CEO, corporate technology support services sector, RTA

ZOOM first launched in Metro stations in 2009. Since then the network expanded to a total of 43 stores, 24 on the red line and 19 on the green line, covering most of the Metro’s 49 stations.

All stores offer customers several services such as DEWA bill payment, Lootah Gas bill payment, iTunes, gift cards, VoIP cards, Du Hello cards, Etisalat/DU recharge, Fly Dubai payment, Salik recharge and much more.

ZOOM has also opened a new store in Rove Trade Centre, Emaar Hospitality Group’s latest mid-scale hotel brand on 2nd December street near the roundabout from Dubai World Trade Centre. Open 24 hours, the 840 sqft ZOOM store will provide the 270-room hotel residents and visitors a wide range of fresh and packaged products in a clean, bright and welcoming environment.
